Fundraising is a vital part of the purpose of the Dutch Fork Band Boosters
- Fundraising opportunities are numerous! Just a few of the chances are:
The Dutch Fork Band Boosters have a new fundraising policy. It is called "80-20". The new 80-20 program is the ratio of fund allocation from proceeds derived from fundraising activities. The program will be applied such that 80% of profits are assigned to the individual student "Quota". The remaining 20% of profits will be allocated to the general operating fund. This new policy is an across the board change and applies to ALL fundraising efforts.
- There are others which will be announced
- Participation in fundraising activities is a MUST. The costs associated with being in a progressive band program are high.
- Reduce your out of pocket
cost by participating. Help your student develop a sense of ownership
in the band program by selling items and seeking donations.
- A philosophy for
fundraising is that we would rather have you raise ALL of your quota
through fundraising. This engenders a sense of pride, for both the
families and students
- The
DFBB (Dutch Fork Band Boosters) have regular business meetings on the
second Tuesday of the month (Typical during the school year). Meetings
begin and 7PM in the High School band room.
- There are MANY opportunities for you to help support the band programs.
